New project from laser class, we had to make patterns. I posted a bunch of detail shots just so you can see how awesomely detailed the machine can cut.

We had to make books for our digital print making class and I did mine on typography. It's kinda therapeutic to layout things with type. I just really enjoy connecting letter forms together and fitting them in very geometric ways.

It's an accordion style book because I wanted the pages to flow into each other.

This is my digital drawing piece on Mountain Dew. Whats more extreme than wrangling a whale and drinking Mountain Dew? It was a fun piece to do though, even if it was really late or should I say really early in the morning.

So Laser cutting class is awesome! Our first project we had to make stencils out of Plexiglas and we had to print them some how. The image is made in illustrator and the machine cuts all the paths. I spray painted the stencil on cardboard and I did one in glow in the dark paint for fun also... oOoOo!
